Getting Started

How do I create an account on Cardsoon?

To create an account, download the Cardsoon app from the App Store or Google Play. Click "Sign Up," enter your email address, and create a strong password. We will send you a verification code to your email to confirm it. That's it! Your account is ready to use immediately after email verification. You can also sign up using your Google or Apple ID for instant access.

Do I need to provide identity documents?

No, we do not require any identity verification documents. We only need to verify that your email is valid by sending a verification code. Your account becomes active immediately after you verify your email. No additional personal documents are needed.

What information do I need to provide to withdraw funds?

To withdraw your earnings, you need to provide your bank account details. We also require you to set a withdrawal password for security purposes. You will be prompted to complete this information when you make your first withdrawal.

Gift Card Exchange

What gift cards does Cardsoon accept?

We accept a wide variety of gift cards including Amazon, iTunes/Apple, Google Play, Netflix, Steam, Spotify, PlayStation, Xbox, and many others. Check the app for our complete list of supported merchants and cards.

How are exchange rates determined?

The actual amount you receive for your gift card is determined by market conditions and real-time exchange rates. You will see the exact amount before confirming your trade.

What if my gift card is rejected?

Cards may be rejected if they're already used, have been reported as stolen, contain invalid details, or if the merchant isn't supported. We'll provide a detailed reason for the rejection. You can resubmit with corrected information if applicable.

Is there a minimum or maximum gift card value?

Minimum values vary by card type but are typically $5 or equivalent. There is currently no maximum limit on gift card values. You are responsible for ensuring that the gift cards you submit are legitimate and legally obtained.

Payments

How long does it take to receive payment?

Once you complete the sale, payment is typically processed within 5-10 minutes to your registered bank account. Processing times depend on your bank's systems.

What payment methods do you support?

We pay directly to your bank account via wire transfer. You need to provide your bank details during account setup. We support most banks in Nigeria and selected international banks.

Does Cardsoon charge any fees?

No, Cardsoon does not charge any fees. The exchange rate you see is the amount you will receive, with no hidden fees or deductions.

Can I request payment through a different method?

Currently, we only support bank transfers. We're working on adding other payment methods like mobile money and cryptocurrency. You can request these features in the app.

Security & Privacy

Is my information safe on Cardsoon?

Yes, we use bank-level encryption and secure servers to protect your information. We comply with international security standards. All in-app communications are encrypted during transmission. Within our platform, strict permission controls ensure that regular employees cannot access user privacy information. Your bank details and personal information are handled with the highest level of confidentiality and are not shared with third parties except for payment processing.

What happens to my personal information?

Your information is used only for account management, transaction processing, and fraud prevention. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. The only exceptions are: (1) payment institutions receive your bank account details to process withdrawals, and (2) fraud detection platforms receive aggregated IP address and device characteristics (not tied to individual users). How do you prevent fraud?

We use advanced fraud detection systems that analyze user behavior and patterns based on IP address and device characteristics at an aggregate level. These measures help us maintain fair platform security and prevent abuse. Note: We cannot determine the legal source of gift cards you submit. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any gift cards you trade are legitimate and legally obtained.

What if my account is compromised?

Contact our support team immediately through the in-app chat. We can help you secure your account and reset your password. Your account is protected by email verification code authentication and biometric security features (if enabled in the app).

Transactions

Can I cancel a transaction?

You can cancel before payment is sent. Once payment is processed to your bank account, we cannot reverse it. You must contact your bank if you need to stop or recall a transfer.

What if I made a mistake with my bank details?

Update your bank information in account settings before the payment is processed. If payment was already sent to incorrect details, contact your bank and our support team immediately.

Can I trade multiple gift cards?

Yes, you can submit multiple gift cards for trade. Each card is processed separately, and payments are combined in your bank account.

Is there a limit on how many transactions I can make?

Transaction limits are not based on account verification. We monitor based on your IP address and device characteristics to prevent abuse and ensure fair platform use. Special promotional offers may have their own specific rules and conditions. Contact support for questions about promotional offers.

Special Services

What is the Virtual Dollar Card?

It's a digital card you can create instantly to make international payments and subscriptions online. Fund it from your Cardsoon wallet and use it anywhere that accepts Visa/Mastercard.

How do I use the Bill Payment feature?

You can pay for bills like airtime, data, electricity, and cable TV directly through the app. Select the bill type, enter the amount, choose your payment method, and complete the transaction.

What platforms work with the Virtual Card?

The Virtual Card works with most platforms that accept Visa/Mastercard, including Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, Google, Airbnb, Uber, and thousands of other online merchants.

Support & Troubleshooting

How can I contact customer support?

You can reach our support team through the in-app live chat feature. This is the fastest way to get help with any questions or issues you may have.

Why is my card rejected?

Common reasons include: invalid card details, already used cards, unsupported merchants, poor image quality, or security concerns. We provide specific reasons in the app so you can resubmit if applicable.

What should I do if I haven't received payment?

First, check your app to confirm payment was processed. If it shows as completed, wait 24 hours as banks may take time to post. If still missing, contact support with your transaction ID.

Account Management

How do I change my password?

Go to Settings > Security > Change Password. Enter your current password and the new password. Make sure your new password is strong and unique.

What security features does Cardsoon use?

Your account is protected by email verification code authentication (sent to your email) and biometric security features (fingerprint or face recognition). This two-layer approach ensures your account security. Multi-factor authentication is not currently available.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can request account deletion in Settings. Your data will be securely deleted after compliance with legal requirements. Active transactions must be completed first.

How do I update my bank details?

Go to Settings > Payment Methods. You can add or change your bank account information. Changes take effect for the next transaction.
